The Top 10 Worst Movies of 2019

While getting to see movies early and write about them does have it’s advantages, more often than not, it can be a drag or downright upsetting. For every Marriage Story, 10 other releases are downright terrible. So after seeing close to 200 individual releases, we have narrowed it down to the top 10 worst movies of 2019.

10. Murder Mystery –

Amazingly, in the same year, Adam Sandler released Uncut Gems, we were treated to this dumpster fire. It was silly and pointless (and that’s saying something when it pertains to the Sandman). Here’s the review

9. X-Men: Dark Phoenix –

X-Men: Dark Phoenix feels like it came out about 84 years ago, and the experience of watching it will take years off of your life. Here’s the review

8. In The Tall Grass –

Not all Stephen King adaptations are entertaining. Let me present Exhibit A. Here’s my review

7. After The Wedding –

After The Wedding is a melodramatic snooze fest. This was the closest release to cinematic Ambien in 2019. Here’s my review

6. Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker –

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is just a lazy dose of fan service and massive let down for this life long fan. Here’s the review

5. Gemini Man –

This movie was terrible because it tried to be a more profound film. Just stick to the action! Here’s the review  –

4. Rambo: Last Blood –

Rambo: Last Blood is just brutal in the most annoying way possible. There’s a reason why this film was never made, and this release is the reason why. Here’s the review –

3. Phil –

Many people aren’t probably aware of this film, and that’s true, then count your blessings. Here’s my review

2. Lucy In The Sky –

I want to apologize for the title of my review. Little did I realize that in just a short month and 1/2 that another release would make me look quite the fool. Here’s the review

1. Cats –

Cats is so bad that Universal stands to lose 100 million dollars on this putrid adaptation of an odd Broadway musical. I never thought anything would be worse than Lucy In The Sky; boy was I mistaken. Here’s the review
